1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GyanAI platform ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TechnoConnect AI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in India.

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Services

GyanAI is an AI-powered educational platform that provides personalised tutoring, adaptive chat, diagnostic quizzes, study notes, assignments, and evaluation services for students and teachers across India. The Services are designed to assist learning — they do not replace qualified educators, schools, or formal educational institutions.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use GyanAI, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent if under 18).
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GyanAI only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, harmful, or inappropriate content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce the AI models or platform technology.
• Use the Services to generate content intended to deceive, harass, or harm others.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Services without permission.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use the platform for commercial tutoring or resale without explicit written agreement.
• Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Attempt to bypass content moderation or safety systems.

5. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer

GyanAI uses large language models (LLMs) to generate educational responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
• GyanAI responses are calibrated to the Indian educational curriculum but should not be treated as the sole source of truth for examination preparation.
• We make no warranty that AI responses are always accurate, complete, or current.
• You should verify important information against authorised textbooks and official curriculum materials.
• GyanAI is a learning aid — final responsibility for examination preparation remains with the student.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform technology, design, AI prompt architecture, and branded content are the intellectual property of TechnoConnect AI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for personal educational purposes.

Content you submit to GyanAI (questions, assignments, responses) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant GyanAI a non-exclusive licence to use it in aggregate, anonymised form to improve the Services.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

8. Fees and Payment

GyanAI is free during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans with advance notice to users. Any fees applicable will be clearly communicated before you are charged. Payments, where applicable, are processed by secure third-party payment providers.

9. Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, TechnoConnect AI and its directors, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of GyanAI. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for examination results, academic performance, or educational outcomes, as these depend on many factors beyond our control.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will meet your specific educational requirements, that AI responses will always be accurate, or that the platform will be error-free at all times.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication before litigation.
